G41M-S can support 4-Pin CPU-fan (Quiet Fan function), please kindly refer to below link for user manual page 22.

Please kindly check whether your CPU fan is 4-pin CPU fan or not.

I noticed that setting in the bios the target speed to slow, the fan speed remains constant, but at lower level (4200->3600).
So it seems that the pwm circuit is modulating the pulse, but the duty cycle of the pwm is always constant ,and not following the cpu temperature....
I would like to SLOW down the cpu fan.
Is it possible to have a workaround, inserting a RESISTOR on the fan +12V line, to lower the cpu speed.
Which Ohm value do you suggest ?Comment
