  • Suggestion for ASRock related to USB 3.0 tech

If you haven't thought of this already, may I suggest something? ASRock is a brand known for their wacky boards (reliable, very high quality, but wacky in the sense of tech combinations, like AMD 700 chipset for 939 cpus...). USB 3.0 is just starting, but people like me have bought cases like the Zalman GS1000, that only have USB 2.0 ports on the front panel.

Would it be possible to create an internal USB 3.0 5.35" bay, to be installed on the front panel of these cases, connecting it to the front USB 3.0 headers present on some ASRock motherboards?

Maybe this already exists, but so far I haven't been able to find something like this... I'm going to upgrade soon, and although this isn't something very important, I would like to have USB 3.0 ports on the front panel of my GS1000. I don't want to buy another case. This one rocks...

By the way I am a proud owner of an ASRock 790GMH for my old 2005 Athlon X2... Wacky board, but excellent. Works like a swiss watch.
Working...
