Bought this board as a replacement board for a still functioning system, I just wanted to get a little more horse power under the hood. So I purchased:
ASRock 880GM-LE
Athlon II X3 455
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3
Is a Win XP SP3 computer.
After installation, the system will power on - CPU fan and case fans go at least. I can get no video out at all, tried both the DVI and D-Sub connectors. I tried swapping around the memory and leaving one stick out to see if that helped.
I don't have a case speaker in this case so I can't tell from the beeps what is going on either.
Other thing I noticed is that my dvd drive (IDE) will not open, (doesn't seem to have power) so I can't attempt booting from CD.
Any suggestions on what to look for or what I could try next?
