I am trying to do a fresh install of XP onto a Western Digital Caviar Blue 80GB SATA drive but it is not being recognized.
Since the board only supports up to 1.5Gb/s I put the jumper on to knock the speed back, disabled RAID mode in the BIOS and still nothing. The drive has been checked in another computer and works flawlessly.
The manual does not give any information other than how to install the drive and enable/disable the features I mentioned above and I do not see this being an issue that is fixed in a new BIOS.
Any suggestions? I feel like I am missing something small.

***EDIT: After making this post I decided to jump back into the BIOS to double check that the settings were changed and the thing was still set to RAID mode. Silly rabbit. Sorry for the post.
