I've come up empty trying to contact ASROCK Technical Support and can't find answers on Web searches; maybe this will be the place to get the answer I hope !
I recently purchased (2) 1GB 128x64 184Pin DDR 266Mhz PC2100 High Density non-ecc memory sticks and inserted them into the K7VT2's "blue" DIMM Memory Slots .
I've flashed the K7VT2's BIOS to the last, most current level
BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. P1.30 03/07/2003 .
I've verified the BIOS level both in BIOS SETUP and Windows XP SP3 .
The System does not recognize the 1GB memory but only shows (2) 512MB sticks totalling
1GB when it should be allocating all 2GB .
Any help is greatly appreciated in having the MB recognize the full 2GB.
