It's great to see users and ASRock representatives collaborating to resolve issues and optimize performance. For anyone considering trying a beta BIOS, it’s essential to carefully read through the experiences shared here, as they can help avoid potential pitfalls. Always remember to back up your current BIOS and important data before testing any beta versions!

hi everyone nice to meet you, i'm curious if it is possible to modify (or already exists) the bios with nvme support for my fatal1ty x79 professional, i'm looking everywhere but i can't find anything. is there anyone who already has the bios modified to make it compatible with this technology?

    Re: ASRock Beta BIOS

Hello There, I have an 890FX Deluxe 3 Motherboard, and use the Beta Bios for AMD FX Support. But the FX Microcode is really old by now (nearly 8 years), and microcode updates have not been applied at all. I would be really thankfull, if a version with new CPU Microcodes and also updated Raid Option Rom would be released.
Every HDD over 700GB is not working in the motherboards raid, and that is really a pitty for such a premium product.

    Best regards

How about a bios for the AM1H-ITX to support PCIe booting? More specifically, I have a SM951 in a M.2 to PCIe adapter and can't get the bios to see it...of course Windows (10) sees it. I've done a fresh UEFI install, but bios still doesn't see it :(

    Re: ASRock Beta BIOS

BIOS is a kind of mini operating system. It's the first thing of code that runs on a pc after powering up. It initializes all hardware, making it all work together. But, it can handle hardware only, if it's known. That's why there are bios updates, to make new hardware being recognized. After all that, the real OS (Windows, Linux, etc.) is loaded by the bios.
