    Re: ASRock Beta BIOS

I see two beta BIOS files for my ASRock Z97 Extreme6. One lists "Improve SATA Express performance" and the other "Improve OC and performance".
Well, I'm having trouble with my Extreme6 not booting if I have an MSI Radeon R9 280 (non-x) board in any of the PCI-e slots. Have posted another thread about that problem, where it details how we've eliminated the graphics card itself as the problem; the motherboard works fine with other NVidia cards, I've tried a different high-quality power supply, etc. (I will be checking R9 280 BIOS and seeing if there's a possible newer VBIOS, but it's a real pain to set it up in my current environment, and I won't get to it until next week)

So is there any chance that there are any fixes in either of these two BIOS files that might fix some sort of graphics card incompatibility?

    thanks.

When do you provide Extreme9... I have the Extreme9.. I like to test the Extreme9-Betas ... do you have Beta for the Extreme9? Installing the Windows on M.2 Ultra with UEFI when it's pre-formated MBR is pain in the arse BTW.

Then it tells me to press Enter to reboot. It then tries to boot to Windows like 3 times and at the 4th try, it seems to reload the latest stable BIOS and it boots to Windows.. then I open A-Tuning again and it says its still on 1.30 and that there is an update available to 1.33. Have tried this two times, no luck. Any clues? is this normal? Kinda lost here.
Put the BIOS (make sure it is already extracted) on USB stick. Reboot and enter BIOS. Goto Instant Flash - it should list your BIOS on the USB stick. Select it and let it update the BIOS. Reboot , load defaults, reboot. Should have new BIOS installed , should say BIOS version in BIOS Main Page.
