don't know if this is the right place to post it, but it seemed the most fitting forum for it.

Just an idea for an addition. I really like the "PC Specs" system they have running over at the official Corsair forums. I don't know if its a default addon-hack or a custom made, but it would be a perfect addition to these forums imo.
My advice - never visit a short-url, no matter who gives it to you. You can't trust any source at any time when you don't know your target

This might help, see last page for changes we may need
Profile Fields in a Postbit Dropdown - vBulletin.org Forum

Other info here, it's the same coding I believe and you don't have to be a subscriber to the default VB forum system.
          vBTEAM Underground

It should also be able to manually added via the ACP user profile fields, but I'm not sure if that's as pretty nor does it show up in the postbit, I think that only adds to the users actual profiles.
