Using webDAV for a newbie!

I want to use webDAV with Mozilla Sunbird to be able to get to my calender anywhere with my (Futur) laptop. The thing is i want to know if i got to start my own web server or i can use a free one on the internet, i was thinking about www.i6networks.com but i dont know if it will work. Can someboby give some pointers?

Update: Now i know that i must use an apache server with mod_dav... just need to know where i can find free hosting tha support apache!
