    ok i installed linux and all and got the internet working then i did the updates and got the latest kernal from redhat, now it can't find my ethernet card...the drivers should be fine if i'm not mistaking and also this JUSt started happening but linux won't load the graphical part of it, i type in the name and password and then it just hangs there for some odd reason, any help plz?

    forgot to add the version is Redhat 8.0

      You most likely need to reinstall whatever you use for internet if your 56k! You will need to recompile the package if that's what you did in the first place. What connection do you have to the net, and what what kernel are you using?

          i'm running cable internet, and thanks for the tip on automatic kernal updates :bounce: :bounce: so far i like linux tho:bounce: :bounce:
