    ok,

    why has freebsd stuffed up the mbr and partition records on my 2.1gb drive
    why has freebsd made the irq listing for my video card dissapear on boot
    why has freebsd made the irq listing for my network card (which it called ed0 rahter than eth0, jsut to confuse) dissapear on boot
    why has freebsd made the irq listing for my sound card dissapear on boot

    and HOW do i fix now i deleted the freebsd partitions with windows/dos Fdisk (disk druid in the red hat installer carked itself when it got to the drive)

    and also

    why did this p150 kheldar sent me have a bios password :P

        i think kheldar programmed in a self-destruct code in the bios if u chnged his password ;)

          At TAFE we use a nice little "utility" called KillCMOS that if you can boot off floppy it will erase the CMOS - and clears the password in the process ;)

                Why the hell would you erase your BIOS, except when you r flashing it? Other than to be mean...

                  To clear BIOS password protection done by a former owner that either can' be contacted or can't remember the password used or one set by ones built by major PC assemblers for the business sector who don't want there employees bein' able to access it but have since sold the PC's to the general public when they are no longer any use to the business. ;)
