need noob printer help

[linux-noobie]

I'm new to linux, and I've been trying to install gimp-print, but it keeps giving me this message when I try to compile:


make[3]: users-guide.sgml; command not found
make[3]: ***[html-stamp] Error 127

I've been trying for days to figure out what is wrong, but I keep coming up with nothing. Can anyone please help me?

Have a look in the config.log that was created when you ran ./configure to see if there are any missing components.
