  • Internet connection sharing and Linux

    Hello All;

    I have a home network (LAN) consisting of three Microsoft Windows XP Home machines and one Microsoft Windows Me machine. What would I have to do to connect a Linux machine to this network? The object is to provide internet access.
    My network is a phone line network, each client machine already has its own network card (AMD PCnet-Home Based Network Adapter (Generic) and all clients are setup with internet access, and the connection is configured by TCP/IP.

    Thanks for your help

    JB

    Have a look at ipcop or smoothwall, both are linux firewall/router distro's for home/soho networks.
