I'm using RH9 and I have the security settings on high using the default firewall rules, I was wondering if I need to install an additional software firewall, and if so what should I use? Thx guys

if you are already on high security settings but if even then you want to try a software firewall then you should start with firestarter (more of a GNOME app but works on KDE too) or guarddog (reverse of firestarter...KDE app) but keep only one at a time. if you want any of the software firewalls, then you should switch off the default one.Latest Microsoft Security Updates.
