Just upgraded to GexCube 256MB ATi Radeon 9600XT from Sparkle 64MB Geforce FX5600 and mark shot up to 442 from 385 !

Definitely a pleasing upgrade :) Nothing I can't run with High Quality Graphic settings.

            My computer:

            3.2ghz Northwood P4
            Gigabyte GA-81K1100
            512 MB DDR400
            Powercolor Radeon 9600 XT Overdrive
Two IBM Deskstar 7K250 80GB Ultra ATA/100 HDD
            Samsung CDRW/DVD Combo SM-352NENB

            My score:

            427.1 (Overall)

            and..

            514 (Processor)

Are these scores decent considering the hardware I'm using? Photoshop 6.0 'seemed' to be not as fast as I expected, considering I upgraded from an Athlon XP 1600+. Is that just me making an illusion? I'm just trying to see if there's an anomoly going on, since I built this computer myself.

            I used Passmark 5, too.

First Engineer you need to read past posts.....I have the highest right now(till an X800 runs it). Just waiting for that poor 499.9 to be blown away lol.

                Re: Passmark Performance Test scores

                551.0 overall

Edit: That's with no overclocking at all.

                    Re: Passmark Performance Test scores

I got 249.9 BUT I only had 1 stick of 512 in, not overclocking... old ati 3d rage card in(with improper drivers), and my sata hdd is being used in a repair job on another computer.... so once i buy a better video card than my MX440(in computer i am repairing), and put everthing back in there i will get some impressive numbers i think

Edit: my ram timings are: ummm well im new at this so ill just list everything cpu-z says o the page....

                    CAS# latency: 2.5
                    RAS# to CAS# delay: 4
                    RAS# precharge: 3
                    Cycle Time: 11
                    DRAM idle timer: 16
can anyone give me a like to a program that can change these, and suggest what might be good timings... thank you

Couldn't afford anything better at the time and I didnt want to snuff on the CPU so I did what I had to do, I will have a BFG 6800GT in my hot little hands soon enough. only about $150 more(thats if I don't spend a lot of that on my new Girlfriend) :)
