Ever been troubled by not being able to view a partially downloaded video file? Well I may possibly have a reference to a little utility that can help.
http://divfix.maxeline.com/ has a nifty download that can rebuild the index file for DiVX and Avi's, etc. so you can play them.
Just be sure to strip the index before you begin to download to the file again.
Pretty cool, huh? I love utilities that can be put on a floppy 12 times over and work beautifully too.
I'm actually using an older version I got here.
Works great in 9x, but the first link does say it is compatible with XP - the older version doesn't make any reference at all to any OS's. So XP users try at your own risk, I have no clue - might work though.
