Can anyone recommend some fax software (cheap or freeware) for use in a small office environment, with the ability to send and recieve faxes from each workstation and some sort of fax routing capability?

I dunno, it will definitely cost you, but check out http://www.ringcentral.com
The pricing isn't nearly as expensive as a lot of business software out there. I have an old OEM copy that is feature rich beyond belief, I think it would meet the needs of a small business quite well. One big advantage is you won't need a degree in computer science to set it up.

There are several RingCentral products so you need to see which one best suits your need. Probably PhoneWorks 2002 Proffessional. It goes for 1/2 to 1/4 the price of a lot of similar software.The reason a diamond shines so brightly is because it has many facets which reflect light.
