Hi folks.
Looking at building a new gaming PC on a moderate budget. Your valuable thoughts on the components and how they work together (or any other suggestions) would be appreciated. I want to play FPS + strategy games as well as use it for office productivity, Photoshop and surfing. I would also like to over-clock.
CPU:
Intel i5 Socket 1150 4690K
MOBO:
MSI Z97-Gaming 3
RAM:
KINGSTON HYPER X FURY 16 GB KIT
GPU:
MSI GTX 970 GAMING 4G
I want to retain these existing components:
Case:
Fractal Design Define R2
Cooler:
Noctua NH-D14
PSU:
Antec TruePower TP-650
Drives:
(C) Seagate SATA 3.5" Internal Hard Disk Drive 500G (quantity = 2 for RAID 0)
(D) Seagate SATA 3.5" Internal Hard Disk Drive 1T (quantity = 2 for RAID 1)
Sound Card:
Sound Blaster SB Recon3D
Considering a new 24-inch 1ms 144Hz monitor, but they are a bit spendy in AU!
