HP DV9000 SDD and HDD problems

I cloned my Western Digital HDD to the Mushkin Enhanced Chronos MKNSSDCR120GB 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) I purchased from NewEgg which worked and booted fine in the number two HDD slot. When I switched the SDD to the number one slot and the Western digital HDD to the number two slot the Laptop fails to boot. If I remove the western Digital HDD from the secondary slot the laptop boots from the SDD. I would appreciate any help in resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.
