Well from Maxtor's site it looks as if this drive has 40GB/platter capacity, at 5400RPM this would stomp all over 7200RPM Drives with a 20GB/platter capacity :)
They haven't gone to 40GB/platter in 7200RPM yet because of the very fine engineering needed to make the drives - it is possible but who wants to buy a A$2,000 Hard Drive? :confused:What came first - Insanity or Society?
