hello y'all :)
am a newbie here!
got a quick question re: my HDD ... read an article about 60GXP and 75GXP IBM Deskstars (I got a 60GB 60GXP) ... and their main problem seems to be overheating resulting in 'click of death ' and eventual failure.
Must admit that I first 'click of death' on my IBM barely a month after purchase and I don't even use my PC that much!
it's been running ok since (ie a couple of months ) with no more 'clicks of deat' ,so my question is any idea of the likelihood if it failing now on , especially if I use a HDD cooler?
evgrin
