    That report on the lauch of "Thoroughbred" is very likely wrong and that it's just the latest speed step for the current line. When "Thoroughbred" does come out (more likely sometime in June) it's should be supported most chipsets that support the current "Palomino" core as it's mainly just a die shrink. :smokin:

      I'm really appreciative of AMD keeping the SocketA/462 platform for as long as they have been, although I suspect it'll change in the future sometime. I've got a KT266 board, and I'm really kicking myself for not going with a KT266A board instead. Oh, well, I plan on snagging a new mobo in the future sometime:devil:

        The platform change will come with "Hammer". ;)
        Though socket A still has a bit of life left in it. :)
