I've had 2 PC's here in the last 6 months with this problem and both times it turned out that the PSU's (no name brands) just wern't up to the power requirement but puttin' a decent PSU in and the prob was no longer. :smokin:

Yes an old 8Mb AGP card.

Thanks for the tips i have a few more things to try.
