  • DFI Infinity 975x New Record

Recently, the most popular thing in PC market must be Intel Core 2 Duo CPU.
Therefore, the relative motherboards, which support Core 2 Duo series, also
took advantage in this period. On the otherhand, 965 can be easily let FSB
up to 450~500 MHz, then its price (mobo) is only around $130~ 250. If
compare with 965, 975 is lot more expensive than 965.

I also realized something about mobo in OC field:
ASUS is the best mobo manufacturer in Intel platform
Then, DFI is the best in AMD platform.

DFI has launched INFINITY 975X since July. A reasonable price $200
With a bunch of features, such likes: 6 phase digital PWM, ceramic heat sink,
X16 PCIe for Crossfire, e SATA interface and 400~ 450Mhz FSB OC
    ability...etc.
It breaks the market positioning of others 975X, also affects the pricing to
    some of the 965 mobos.

At that time, I have brought out 2 defect about this board:
1.The compatibility of DDRII still needs to be improved.
2.The boot up screen and OS monitoring software also need to be strengthen.

That is one ugly and poorly laid out motherboard. Atleast it can overclock very well to make up for that. Nice one!
