Need help please

Hi,

We had a blackout yesterday for a few hours, my pc was on at the time then turned off, I went out and came home this afternoon and tried to boot up pc..

The pc seemed to boot, although my moniter was not getting a signal and it the light on my mouse was off..

mainboard is AW8-MAX

I have a surge protecter as well and the pc in the other room is fine as it was in the same situation.

what could the problem be?

Try reseting the CMOS, should be a little jumper on the motherboard that you can use to reset. Or unplug the computer from power and remove the CMOS battery and wait for a few mins. Then put everything back and try to boot.

If that does not work come back and post the rest of your specs please.
