What is the best Motherboard ?

Re: What is the best Motherboard ?

Two SLi socket 939 boards are in the lead of the competition. I

strongly recommend you should unarguably stick with AMD board with

    socket 939.

The DFI Lanparty nF4 SLI socket 939 would be your first choice.

Despite that DFI's lacking customer service and memory incompatibilty issues,

its a dream come true for overclockers.

Your second choice would be the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe socket 939. The A8N

board is a rock-solid board and its not as picky as the DFI board. Comes with

more features than the DFI not to mention, extra SATA cables and everything

    else that you need.

Edit: Buy all of your computer needs from Newegg.com. You can read

customers reviews on parts and they are known for their best customer

support and fast delivery. happy hunting

Assuming your American, agreed. Can't go Newegg if your outside of the U.S. and Puerto Rico and aren't a member of the U.S. armed forces.

I wouldn't say DFI's newer boards have any memory compatability issues. Hell, one of the best things about the DFI Athlon 64 boards is that they are able to overclock memory far better than all of the competition.

As an alternative to the SLI, a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra is good, too. The only difference is it won't support SLI configurations without some modding.

For more information on the competing motherboards, see this roundup.
