Asus A7n8x Deluxe Raid Help

I have an

Asus A7N8x Deluxe
3000 Barton core processor with 400FSB
2 Sticks of memory (crossair Pc 3200) dual channel
video card is the Apollo 5700LE {256 DDR}

I have 2 maxtor 200GiG hardrives that operate on SATA.

The problem i have is they will no post on cold boot. can anyone help me

Before the POST finishes, you should be seeing at least a screen with the keyboard button combo to get you to the RAID screen. If you never see this screen, I'd recommend you upgrade your BIOS. I can't remember if I did this before I actually had 2 SATA drives to create my RAID but I know my RAID works well. This link will show you how to update your BIOS step by step and also give you some incidental information. It was one of the best sites I found relating to my motherboard:
