  • 6 channel audio on MSI mainboard question

I have the MSI board listed below in the link. How are you suppose to hook up 6 channel audio if the boards onboard audio card only has one green output jack? Isn't there suppose to be a black and yellow jack to go along with the green jack for 6 channel audio? My board only has one single green jack for output, no black and yellow outputs but Newegg advertises it as having 6 channel audio.

Ya should've got with the board an "S bracket" which plugs into the mobo and fits into one of the expansion slots in the back of your case. This is an audio extension that has the SPDIF output along with the center and rear anolog outputs.
