no bios info , when starting up

hello, newb here, quik question.........why is there no bios info when i boot up?? goes black then right into xp loading screen....

2600 xp
9700np
80g wd hd
350 w psu
pc2700 333 ddr 512mb

this is a new mobo and chip as well, it did show the aopen boot screen once or twice when first configured, but now it does not.....any ideas....thx

try hitting F1 or TAB and see if the bios info will pop up.
I think that there is a setting in bios that shows different logos, so see if maybe you got the fullscreen one on.
