    The fan that is attached to the motherboard. What are the benifis of having that fan? What is it cooling down?

    The one next to the cpu? I think the fan is for the nothbridge. Which controls your agp slot. 1x 2x 4x 8x agp speed. As technology gets faster, heat becomes an issue. The chip gets hot therefore it needs some sort of cooling. :cheers:

      It cools the northbridge chipset which houses your memory controller, USB, AGP, etc.
