Ok its offical my MSi motherboard is well and truly dead. I've just packaged it up to send it on its way back to the supplier. I've decided to get this motherboard Gigabyte 7N400 Pro nForce2 Ultra link here what do you guys think of these.

depending on what features you are after, you may like to look at the Epox 8RDA3+ which is only $190 AU...very good for overclocking.
it really depends on what you need in a motherboard. I use the Asus A7N8X Deluxe, for its Dual LAN, Soundstorm and i find it very stable...
i have never used a gigabyte board before but i hear they are pretty OK...
