DDR compatability

I am going to buy a 'new' mobo, and i was wondering, until i receive the new processor, is it safe or stable to use ddr 266 mhz with a 100 mhz fsb (celery) ??

i have a p3 1.4, but i need it to be mailed to me... i just am now getting the hardware for it.... i just need to know if i can float by until i recieve the processor or if i should go ahead without it for a while...

its 100% safe, and stable, itll just run aty 200mhz and if ya wanted....you could even try to overclock the Celeron to a 133FSB
