Hi, I'm upgrading my old PC (maybe 7 years). Problem is I bought 1gb ram ( 2x512mb) to enable dual channel, but I have also another 512mb but with different timings and made by different manufacturer. Do you think that I should use 1gb dual channel or 1,5 gb single channel ( with dif. timings)?
Its DDR kingston 2x512mb 3-3-8 and 512mb 4-4-8 ( made by pqi )
I tried both solutions but there is almost no difference (except +/- 512mb memory )
