    sup guys,

just put together a new computer, and i got the dfi lan party mobo w/ a gig of corsair XMS platinum. when i was assembling i was having boot problems so i did a bunch of troubleshooting, and noticed that everytime i put the XMS in, it wouldnt boot past bios, and when it did, it would hang or reboot when it was getting ready to enter windows. when i have a cheapo 512 stick in there, it's fine. i'm not really savvy on the dfi yet, so does anyone have any idea of what setting i need to change on the mobo to get it to work w/ this RAM?

    thanks,
    glin

Do you have another machine to test the RAM in? Your problem may not be a setting but a faulty stick of RAM.

Increase the memory voltage to 2.7-2.8v as XMS modules like the extra charge.
