This question follows up on one I asked in the 'im a total noob and don't know what to buy' section (or something like that). I have a northwood 2.53 p4, and asus p4p800-se board, and asked about RAM. The recommendation I got was for PC3200. My question is this: Would I be better off putting the money into 2 sticks of lower latency PC2700 since this would still leave room for a good bit of overclocking and be faster memory. I'm looking at this memory http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProduc...144-122&depa=1
Is there any real advantage to the 3200 besides upgrading later? I doubt I'll get to the limits of the 2700 with my current processor. Of course the Low Latency PC3200 would be nice, but I need to conserve the cash; so it looks like I need to stay below the 200.00 mark.
Thanks
