Is DDR2 worth it?

My question is, at the moment is it worth buying a motherboard that supports DDR2? And I know the bandwidth is almost doubled but what other advantages if any yet.

No advantages yet until DDR2 is at much higher speeds. Wait for at least DDR2-800. The latencies are too high on it.

Not only are the latencies too high, but it can't evven be used on anything except LGA775, which is just a waste of money ATM...
