  • Games crashing with new ram

    Asus a7nx8 delux, Athlon3200+,
    I have just fitted OCZ pc3200 se 2-2-2-7
    Now when I play games my system crashes, no problem before with pc2700.
    anyone got any ideas.

    Firstly I would up the RAM voltage by 0.1v, then run the RAM at it's rated timings, although I'm using that they are Cas2 timed. Try 2-3-2-6 and as I said up the RAM voltage by 0.1v

      k6-2 .and . . . AMD 64bit|3.2,1G[2326],9800xt [both died] miss my 500 K's
      recycled from the trash [and in use]
      2 = 945G chipset boards 2G Celeron and dual Pentium
      3 = AM-37 FIK motherboards 2-2.6 G
      in storage 810/815 chipset P3's 800MHZ[4setup and +? not]

        Yes and some like my work better at 2-2-2-5 while others will like 9, 13 or 15 but most will depend on the modules themselves plus a lot of benchtestin' to work out but will you spell Athlon correctly.

        pdxxtqhf, I cannot find any OCZ PC3200SE modules listed at http://www.ocztechnology.com/ so are ya sure that ya running the right timings there? :?:
