  • differnces in ram speed PC4000 vs. 3200

    By looking at the most basic of specs I can see that the PC4000 runs much faster that PC3200 so why not use these higher speeds when overclocking. I keep reading that PC3200 is the way to go- even with MB's running a 800mhz FSB. Why not run faster stuff to begin with- other than price?

    Memory timings, anything over 3500 have slow memory timings.
