I have several MB's with two NIC ports one of which is connected to my in-house network that is connected to the internet via gigabyte switches, gigabyte wireless router, wireless extender and cable modem. All of the computers are connected via Ethernet cables. Now, I would like to have an separate network for computers that I may or may not want getting tangled up in the internet. Is it possible to use the 2nd NIC port to connect to another computer (Home Server) using a separate switch? Will Windows7/8.1 handle without a lot of hassle the two "networks" which will be going to some of the same places? I've Googled around but have not been able to find a "How to". Seems like this is a common want. Help appreciated.
