I have the AO751H-1211 aspire one netbook. It comes with a b/g mini pci-e card that I would like to upgrade to an Intel 5300 or 5350 wireless-n card. On intel's site, they basically say that they can ensure 100% compatibility of these cards if they are used in conjunction with Centrino based processors. My netbook has a 1.33ghz Atom processor along with a Mobile Intel US15W Express Chipset. I see guys upgrading the wifi on these netbooks all the time. Will I be ok with my choice of wifi cards?

Re: Upgrading Aspire One WIFI to Wireless-N..
yea...thats the problem. i'm buying it off ebay and once i buy it, there's no returning. but, i can pick up a 5300 for 19 bucks, so it won't be a huge dent if it doesn't work, but Id still rather not throw away 19 bucks ya know.
I see a lot of guys throwing these intel cards in everyone one of these little netbooks, including the aspire one, so I'm just gonna give it a shot.Antec 900 (Custom Metallic Red Paint)
