I wonder if my 250w psu is to weak to stand a Zalman 80 mm chassifan?
You can se my other hardware is listed below. I assume it's quite heavy loaded already... It's a brand new 250w psu from Aopen...

yeah i reckon your current harware setup is quite heavily loaded. a new PSU 300w+ would do the job. :thumb:

From my experience with AOpen power supplies, they tend to be very conservatively rated. My mother has a 250W ATX model, and it runs a 450MHz K6-2 (about the same wattage as your P3), a 20GB and 30GB HDD, a 52x CD-ROM, an AOpen 24x CD-RW, and every card slot filled. Copes admirably :)

My 300W AOpen has a 1.7GHz Pentium 4 (2.5 times the wattage of your P3), DDR motherboard w/ RAID, 16x CD-RW, 48x CD-ROM, 4 Hard Drives, and all but one slot filled including a GF3 Ti200 in the AGP slot.

What am I trying to say? I'm saying that I feel your PSU will cope with an 80mm chassis fan - after all they only draw a few watts at most :)
