  • monitor and power switch problem

    Hi there,
I have just switched cases and now my monitor is not receiving a signal from the pc and my power switch will not turn the pc off.
The monitor is working, the power switch turns the pc on and the reset switch works.
All the fans, LED's and drives seem to power up and there are no error beeps.
I have checked all the connections and there seems to be no visible damage anywhere.
I have a bios saviour fitted and it wont boot with either bios.
I dont have a spare graphics card but want to know all the possibilities before I buy a cheapy to try out.
    Any ideas guys ??

Remove everything from the case and start over. If your case came with little fiber grommets, use them for your mounting screws for the mainboard. You may be getting a slight short somewhere or something may not be fully seated. Memory modules and video board will be the two likely culprits if this is the case.
