  • Screen just turning off

I have a ATI 9800 pro video card and this problem happened on my old ATI 8500 before and as I am playing a game the screen just turns off and I have to restart? I did what some other people said like turn off VPU settings and I turned off fast right but that did not help and it does it quite often need some help.

    what are your system temps?
    how often does thing happen?
try playing the games in the least resolutions and see if that helps.
look in event viewer, if you can find something.

Same problem to me. But when the screen just turns off. I just tap the monitor hard then it comes back on again. Funny isn't it? Maybe you should try it.
