I'm having trouble loading a game "flight Simulator 2004" on one of our PCs .
At various steps into the instal , ie, 2% - 60% it fails and a message states it was due to lack of memory or a cabinet file may be corrupted.
I've tried disabling all running progs including Norton AV & the firewall without success.
The unit has 512 meg of RAM and RamIdle shows 300 plus at the the time of failure so I'd rule that out.
I have found 1 Cabinet file in Windows/system 32, its 59KB, how do I tell if its corrupted? and what does it do?
The system otherwise works perfectly & runs XP pro, AMD 2000, and has 50+gig of free space.
Can anyone help please?
