  • Monitor just switch Off!

It happens not all the time but its annoying me.

Everytime i'm not doing something my monitor just somekind of switching itself and there's no way to put the screen back, so i need to restart.

Anyone knows how to fixed this? do you think its because of my Graphics Card? i don't know...

    Thanks in Advance!

Go into ya Display Properties/Screensaver then click on the button under Monitor power and see if the monitor is set to turn off after a certain period. If not there then go into the BIOS and under Power Management see if it has been set there to turn off.

i went to the properties section as you said, but its not i put it into "never". i dont about the bios yet, but i'll go and check later.

Lets say I checked all of them and find that the settings are all ok, roughly what you think the problem is?

      thanks wiggo!

Well in that case it would more likely be a dry/cracked solder which after a certain amount of heat separates and cuts the power (on coolin' it reconnects). Try another monitor and if it doesn't happen to that then the is in ya other monitor. If it happens to both then it's likely the video card.
