i don't know how it works specifically with your keyboard setup but most of them come with some settings menu of their own in start --> programs.
have you seen there, if you have an option of making a browser default?

Just wondering if it possible to get a Logitech Elite Keyboard to see Mozilla as the default browser?

Can't seem to get it going. Have been to the Logitech website and emailed them, the reply was that it works with Netscape.

Can someone help out with this please?

          Thanks

The setup app for the kb should have a target for the "internet" key on the kb. You need to point it to the Mozilla executable: "C:\Program Files\mozilla.org\Mozilla\mozilla.exe".

That works if you only want to open up Mozilla itself, but the Elite keyboard has a few other buttons that you can go directly to webpages, no matter what I do, when I press these IE opens up.

              Thanks again

now this seems very strange to me. I use the logitech elite keyboard with Mozilla Firebird and it works just fine, whether I use the logitech software or not (granted, some of the special keys don't work if I don't use it). It uses whatever browser i have set as the default.

Is there a special tweak to enable this?

a tweak for mozilla and firebird or the keyboard? but the answer is the same either way... no. The setting to make the broswer is the default is in the options/preferences; one click of the mouse will do it. I haven't had to do anything to the keyboard or the software associated with it.

I have enable Mozilla to be the default browswer through Mozilla's options, but can't find any options for this in the ITouch Configuration

there was a new version released last week (here). maybe you should try it. Mozilla isn't in the list of supported browsers, but netscape is so it should be fine.

EDIT: alright, i installed the software and it didn't work :( However, i checked before installing it and the buttons that didn't require the software did work with both firebird and mozilla. It's been a while since I used the logitech software, but the last time I did I know mozilla worked with it. I guess mozilla has progessed too far to be mistaken for netscape now. Anyway, depending on which buttons you used, you may want to just uninstall the software (like I'm about to do). kind of irrelevent, but the logitech eliet keyboard has way more features than I need, want, or use.

I actually found a similar kind of problem with my Logitech mouse. Worked fine until I installed the software for it. :) Probably not going to help in any way though. :(
