Okay, I have just blown up the heating element of my 30 watt soldering iron. Now, when I opened it up, the element was far too gone. I have many strings of nichrome wire fit for "rewinding" of the iron.
So, how do i repair the iron? I could just rewind it, but how many windings? Would I need something special?
The power socket gives 220v, 60Hz.
P.S: I dont have money to buy a new one. I am currently broke from buying a new mobo for my computer.
