  • Confused about KVM Switches

What I'm trying to accomplish is this... one computer, two sets of a keyboard, mouse and monitor.

But KVM switches are the opposite, right? For example... Two computers, one mouse, keyboard and monitor.

Is there any device out there that can do what I'm looking for? Also... another catch is the keyboard is PS/2. The mouse is USN (wireless) and monitor is VGA.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You can use dual keyboards, mice, and monitors with almost any PC. You'll need PS2 to USB converters for them, but it will work fine.

So pretty much all I need is a splitter? I know I've seen VGA splitters before, but do they make the same thing for PS/2 connections or just USB?

Why would you need a splitter? Unless you have two people trying to use the mice and keyboards at the same time, there's no problem with having them all connected. Even then, it just makes it hard to do things; there's no hardware problem.
