  • Lightning, bit too close for comfort!

Walking down to the local just before for a counter meal which is about 5 minutes walk down the road. It's been stormy here in Melbourne all afternoon. As I got out the front of my place an half way across the road a strike came down and I swear it was less than a 100 metres away, I instantly started running till I had come cover from other buildings!

Guess the Gods were on my side... :)

I was drivin me mate home a while back and lightning struck the road about 50m in front of us. He was pretty whaked, and didnt really notice it, but it totally freaked me out.

Weve had lighning hit a few trees near our old house, one huge mofo branch came off and crashed into the roof at 2am. We thought our metal bins had blown open (as the olds were out, was me & sisterds) so we just went back to sleep. Olds came back the next day and went off at us as part of the roof was kinda.....not there.
                oops.
