    gigabyte auros master z390, how to get two temp sensor headers to work?

    Gigabyte mobo z390 auros master has two temp sensor headers, EC_TEMP1 and EC_TEMP2.  I plugged the 2 enclosed two pin temp sensors, one into each of the two, neither one worked.  Booted bios, shows the sensors, but has "-" next to them both, ie not reading just as if not plugged in.  Tried...
